Gig economy row escalates as MPs attack Uber over 'gibberish' contracts

The gig economy has come under fresh attack from MPs who have labelled the self-employment contracts of Uber, Deliveroo, Amazon and Hermes as "unintelligible". The House of Commons Work and Pensions Committee slammed the businesses for confusing contractors so they don't understand their rights. It singled out Uber's contract as being "gibberish".
