Uber's Legal Woes Worsen As Judge Grants Injunction In Google Trade Secret Case
A judge has demanded Uber return all documents stolen from Google and has set tight limits on the engineer who took them. Forbes reports this to be just the latest hiccup on their legal battle with Alphabet Inc.’s Waymo over trade secret theft.
The preliminary injunction was brought about after US District Court Judge William Alsup suggested the Justice Department look at possible criminal actions by engineer Anthony Levandowski and, very importantly, denied Uber’s wish to have the matter resolved in private away from public scrutiny.
