Does London need a Mayor and GLA?

Driving home in the pouring rain after a long, but rewarding, night shift I found myself listening to the sultry voices on London Taxi Radio. A question was put to listeners which I'd like to share here; Does London need a Mayor and the GLA? It's an intriguing question, but for me and the other TaxiPoint editors it's a yes.
