Uber will "continue helping" Transport for London even if license is revoked
It's got to the stage where very little surprises us when it comes to Uber. However, the latest comment to hit the press has left TaxiPoint dumbfounded.
It has been noted that a Uber spokesperson attending a digital transport summit was quoted to say Uber would "still help" Transport for London even if it's operators license was revoked.
These comments will no doubt anger not only the London taxi trade, but the UK market as well. Just how and why a private hire operator is "helping" the market regulator remains unclear.
