"TfL official" serving up minicab work at Wimbledon... is an imposter.

A photo of what was perceived to be a Transport for London official advertising private hire work emerged via social media today. 

The photo was taken nearby the busy Wimbledon tennis tournament currently in its first week.

There were allegations on social media from taxi drivers stating that the person in question was in fact a Compliance Officer, but these rumours have been quickly quashed by a TfL spokesperson talking exclusively to TaxiPoint.
