Where are the most expensive taxi tariffs in the UK

Many would think that given the cost of living in London, the capital would feature as the U.K.'s most expensive taxi tariff.

However London comes in at number five. The four more expensive areas for taxis include; Luton Airport, Watford, Heathrow Airport and the former Carrick district in Cornwall. 

A study conducted by the Private Hire and Taxi Monthly magazine showed hailing a taxi in these four areas will cost you more than if you took a cab in the centre of London.
