Two-fifths of consumers are now eating out less - How does that affect the taxi trade?

Perry Richardson

New research conducted by the UK's most well known loyalty scheme, Nectar, has revealed that over two-fifths of consumers are now eating out less regular.

This report is the latest to find consumer habits changing and diners shifting towards delivery firms such as Deliveroo and JustEat.

So does this affect taxi trades around the UK? Hard to tell. You could argue that we need customers out and about needing to get from A to B to make a living. However, were these local users ever our customers in the first place?

What is for sure is that all consumer markets are changing fast and the focus is most definitely on technology.
