Ireland says no to Ubers private cars

The National Transport Authority in Ireland have announced it will not allow Uber to operate it's controversial private car option on its app.

Irish customers currently using the Uber app can only book a taxi or limousine. Government officials have said that the private car option was not appropriate for Ireland.

Ireland become the latest in a now long line of countries and local authorities to question the working model of Uber.
