Algerian suspected of hit and run in France could be an Uber driver

The 37-year-old Algerian man suspected of ramming a car into a group of soldiers on the outskirts is alleged to have worked for controversial car app Uber.  

Mohammed Benlatreche, who identified himself as the suspect's uncle, told the French news source BFM his nephew was a devoted Muslim who told his family he was working as a driver for deliveries and for Uber. 

The devastating incident has sent shockwaves through France.
