Uber in court for allegedly hiding the value of rides from drivers

Perry Richardson

American minicab firm Uber are challenging  a proposed lawsuit which alledges to charge its customers more than what it pays and tells its drivers.

According to Arstechnica, Uber have come out fighting saying that the fares they charge customers do not have to match that given to the driver as stated in the drivers agreement.

Drivers however feel defrauded given that Uber already take a high percentage from each ride, plus now this hidden extra.

A court hearing is scheduled for 1st December.
