Waymo want Uber to pay at least £1.9 billion in damages

Waymo will be looking for Uber to pay £1.9 billion in damages in the up and coming self driving vehicle court case which is likely to start next month. The astonishing sum of money was disclosed by the legal team working for Uber in court today, according to Reuters.
Waymo claim that former employee Anthony Levandowski copied over 14,000 confidential files before starting a new role at Uber concentrating on self-driving trucks. Uber have strongly denied using any information owned by Waymo.
