Uber driver in court on sexual assault claims

Perry Richardson

An Uber driver has been accused of sexually assaulting a female passenger who fell asleep in his minicab. Andrew Aluge,46, of Vauxhall South London, allegedly stroked and caressed the leg of the lady, telling her: "Stay in the car. I'll make you feel good" a court heard. According to reports in The Sun he then grabbed her ankle as she tried to flee. She told the court: "I suddenly felt really scared like he was going to rape me". The woman said she escaped and fled to a friends flat. Mr Aluge denied inappropriately touching her during a trip to Tulse Hill, South London.
