Scotland's chief of police constable Phil Gormley asked the council's licensing committee to suspend McPherson's licence, brandishing him not "fit and proper". The council ruled against the request and has allowed McPherson to continue his work on the ride-hailing app. A spokesman for the council said : "The licence holder in this case was warned against his future conduct "
