Robber cuts Knowledge Boy's throat for just £10
A knowledge boy said today that he feared he was going to die as a robber attacked him with a broken wine bottle whilst working as a minicab driver.
The victim was attacked in an incident at 3.30am on Sunday last week whilst working to supplement his knowledge studies as a minicab driver. The attacker got away with just £10.
He told the Evening Standard that his ordeal had left him lacking the confidence to drive.
The victims knowledge partner and longtime friend set up a crowd funding page asking the trade to help financially. As it stands, following an appeal by TaxiPoint, earlier this week the current total stands at £1,215. According to his friend, the victim of the attack is unable to work and is facing financial pressure with a first baby due later this month.
Police said a 32-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of robbery and released under investigation. Police asked witnesses to call 101 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
