Must read: "In Letter, Uber Said Drivers Didn't Make Advertised Earnings Due to Their '

Earlier this year American ride-hailing app Uber settled claims that it misled drivers in regards to how much they could make working on the app. 

However, in a letter seen by Gizmodo via the Freedom of Information Act, the much maligned transport service argued that drivers were predominantly at fault for not earning as much as the advertised figures because they chose not to work for as long as they could.
