AirAsia announces partnership with Uber

AirAsia and ride-hailing giants Uber, have joined forces in a partnership which they say will provide smooth, affordable and comfortable travel experiences in 52 cities across 16 Asia-Pacific and American markets. The partnership is said to include promotions and discounts for travel. Uber's, Asia Pacific, Chief Business Officer, Brook Entwistle, said in his official statement on Tuesday 9th, customers can order their Uber services along with a pre-arranged trip plan to ensure their Uber driver will be waiting for them when they land. 

Tony Fernandes, CEO of AirAsia Group, and majority shareholder of London based football team Queens Park Rangers, added that the partnership will enable customers to plan their entire journey from home to destination, providing more comfort.
