Lyft open first European office
Ride-hailing firm, Lyft, are opening their first European office. The new residence will be taken up in the southern German city of Munich. According to a report in Bloomberg , the office is said to accommodate workers developing advanced localisation and geometric mapping technologies to assist it's autonomous driving plans. It is not yet known whether Lyft will be looking to launch it's ride-hailing services in Europe yet. Lyft's biggest rival, Uber, are under huge pressure by regulators across the continent, which they are no doubt keeping a close eye on. Last year, representatives of Lyft were in contact with London regulators, TfL, to discuss the cities transport strategy. Â
