Fake Cabbie with an unhealthy obsession with "Taxi Porn" convicted of rape

A 41 year old man who had an obsession with "taxi porn" has been convicted of raping a young woman who entered his vehicle thinking he was a cab driver in Hull. Alnadar Ahmed coaxed his victim into his black Chevrolet on New Year's Day when he raped her. Just hours after the attack Ahmed posted messages on Facebook offering his services as a taxi driver. According to a report in the Hull Daily Mail , Ahmed claimed he was only doing the woman a favour by offering her a lift home and "reluctantly" had consensual sex with her. Following a five day trial at Hull Crown Court, a jury unanimously convicted him of rape. Once the decision was announced the jury were told that Ahmed was also currently being investigated about another suspected sex offence. In a police interview Ahmed said he watched porn for educational purposes, but he later changed his reasoning and said watching porn was a "hobby" of his. Ahmed will be sentenced on June 8.
