Quick thinking cabbie saves woman from drowning

A quick thinking taxi driver saved a womans life after he spotted her drowning in a loch.
Robert Ewing, 57, from Edinburgh, and his fishing partner, 56 year old Ian Dobbie, were fishing in Linlithgow Loch, West Lothian, when they spotted the woman screaming for help as her family looked on helplessly.
The pair grabbed a boat and rowed across to the stricken woman and pulled her aboard, the unamed woman's partner, who had clung to an Orange Buoy, grabbed hold of the stern of the boat and was safely rescued. SK
