Black cab driver reported for ‘careless driving’ as police witness cabbie overtaking queue of cars

A licensed black cab driver was reported by City of London Police for ‘careless driving’ after officers witnessed the cabbie overtaking queuing vehicles.

City Police Officers shared details and an image of the incident which took place in the financial district on Tuesday.

The driver is likely to attend a driver awareness course due to the police report.

A City Police Officers spokesperson said via social media: “Move over... This taxi got slightly confused as to what side of the road he should be driving on.

“Hopefully a driver awareness course should help, 1 reported careless driving 895CP #CityRPU #fatal4#bepatient”
