Liverpool taxi passenger ‘overjoyed’ after being reunited with lost property
Liverpool City Council has successfully reunited a piece of taxi lost property with its rightful owner, who was "overjoyed" to retrieve it.
The item, found in the back of a taxi, was handed over to the council's licensing office by the conscientious driver.
A Liverpool City Council Licensing spokesperson said: “Property which was found in the back of a Taxi and handed into our office by the driver, has been reunited with its owner who described herself as being 'overjoyed' to get it back.
“Any lost property found in a licensed vehicle can be handed in the Licensing Authority.”
