Taxi driver amongst motorists issued TORs for parking up on M56 hard shoulder near airport

Manchester police officers warned motorists to stop dropping off on the motorway hard shoulder leading up to Manchester Airport.

A taxi driver was amongst a group of motorists that were caught by the Greater Manchester Police Traffic unit dropping off and picking up on the hard shoulder of the M56.

Police officers shared images of three vehicles all of which received TOR notices.

A Greater Manchester Police Traffic spokesperson said: “Please use the designated areas when dropping off / picking up at the Airport.

“DO NOT park on the hard shoulder of the M56 like these drivers. TORs issued.”
