Lumiere London 2018; Traffic Update

Lumiere London, a free four-night light festival commissioned by the Mayor of London, will showcase more than 40 outdoor light installations throughout central London from Thursday 18 to Sunday 21 January 2018 and run from 17:30 to 22:30 each night.  


The closed roads in the West End will affect traffic across central London.


Road closures between 16:30 and 23:30 from 18-21 January include: 


  • Argyll Street (Two-way traffic)

  • Argyll Street / Little

  • Beak Street

  • Brook Street

  • Bruton Street

  • Carlton Street / St. Alban's Street

  • Charles II Street

  • Conduit Street

  • Earlham Street

  • Goods Way

  • Great Castle Street

  • Hanover Street

  • Leake Street

  • Mercer Street

  • Monmouth Street

  • Neal Street

  • New Burlington Street

  • Old Bond Street

  • Oxford Street

  • Piccadilly

  • Regent Street

  • Regent Street / Margaret Street (banned right turn)

  • Regent Street St. James

  • Sackville Street

  • Shaftesbury Avenue

  • Shorts Gardens

  • South Audley Street

  • South Crescent

  • Upper John Street

  • Upper Regent Street

  • Vigo Street

  • Warwick Street (two-way traffic)

  • Waterloo Place
