Until mid-March, London Bridge will be closed northbound on weekdays only, while Cadent (formerly National Grid Gas) carry out emergency gas works on nearby Gracechurch Street. This restriction does not apply to local buses, taxis (black cabs), cycles and pedestrians. Private hire vehicles - please use Blackfriars Bridge or Tower Bridge to cross the river.

Vehicles more than two metres (six foot six inches) wide are not permitted through the tunnel. This is to ensure safety and reduce the risk of collisions. All London licensed taxis (black cabs) can use the tunnel. Drivers restricted from using the tunnel should use Tower Bridge or the Blackwall Tunnel - both of which are outside of the Congestion Charge.
