With consumers storing more and more payment and login details online, the internet has become a major source of criminal activity.
The price for a Netflix account is around £8.19 whilst an Uber account is approximately £7.61.
Simon Migliano also stated that web users needed to remain constantly vigilant as identity thieves can access personal details in a various ways.
He also explained that ways of protecting oneself include, using unique passwords and encrypting connections to WiFi hotspots with a VPN.
Failure to do this makes it very easy for hackers to steal sensitive data transmitted via these public networks.
