Ubiquitous Taxi team to jump sky high with Red Devils to raise vital charity funds

23 Jun 2019

Ubiquitous Taxis, the UK’s largest taxi advertising company and existing supporter of Taxi Charity, has organised a skydive to raise much needed funds for the military veteran charity.

To mark the 75th anniversary of the D-Day landings, six Ubiquitous team members - Nick Wilson, Sophie Green, Stewart Carden, Emily North, Karl Maresch and Daemon Brown - will be jumping with the Red Devils.

Their jump is scheduled to take place on Thursday 29 August, the same day that Chelsea Pensioner, Mike Smith, will be making his 100th jump.

The Taxi Charity For Military Veterans (formerly known as the London Taxi Benevolent Association For War Disabled) was formed in Fulham in 1948.

Their aim then was to help war veterans, in their homes and hospitals, throughout London and the home counties, by providing entertainment, outings and much needed specialised equipment.
To this day, the objective remains simple; to work for the benefit, comfort and enjoyment of military veterans.
