Police seize second car within a month used by same man for touting in London.
Yesterday, 25 August, Metropolitan Police Roads and Transport officers stopped an unlicensed car in Westminster that they believed was touting for work.
A male driving the vehicle was then identified by police as the same person who touted a police officer back on 28 July. The car in July, which was touting around Victoria Coach Station, was seized due to no insurance.
Now the latest car has also been seized for no insurance.
A Metropolitan Police Roads and Transport spokesperson said via Twitter: “#CabsUnit just stopped this unlicensed vehicle in @MPSWestminster believed out touting & who was driving?the same male who touted a Police Officer the other week. That car was seized then & tonight another car seized from him due to no insurance. #OpStan”
