Central London travel update: State opening of parliament

Due to the State Opening of Parliament on Wednesday 21 June, there will be extensive road closures and dispersed traffic in central London including:

• St James's Park, Parliament Square, Whitehall and Victoria Street

• Further closures may take place in a wider area from Southwark Bridge to Victoria and from Vauxhall to Pall Mall and Trafalgar Square

• Significant delays to journeys across central London on roads which remain open such as Grosvenor Place, Park Lane, Euston Road, the Strand and Stamford Street
