Yandex merges with Uber in Russia
Yandex, known as the "Google of Russia", and Uber have settled on on a merger to form one ride-hailing service in Russia and five neighbouring eastern markets. Yandex will be the leading partner and will retain the brand name.
The deal is seen as a way out for Uber who were struggling to take market share in Russia.
