Southend cab driver seriously ill after assault

A 60 year old cab driver from Southend remains in a critical condition after an alleged assault by 3 female passengers. 

The attack took place in Ness Road in Shoebury at approximately 10.15pm on the 30th of August.

According to the regional news source The Echo News, the driver is believed to have received a trauma to the head and also suffered a heart attack at the time of the assault.
