Uber app rivals in download boom

Transport for London's decision to show Uber the door has paved the way for a Taxi and Private Hire app boom.

In the immediate two days after Uber were show the door a spike in downloads was recorded for Gett, mytaxi and Addison Lee respectively 

Growth was up by as much as 159% over the weekend immediately after Uber was given its marching orders according to stats obtained by App Annie.

With Uber customers resigning themselves to the fact that the service is soon to disappear the three big London taxi apps; Gett, mytaxi and taxiapp, will be looking to bring customers back into the taxi trade.

The taxi trade is about to see a peak in customers so app yourself up and brace yourselves!
