Recommended Story: Khan attacked by Labour councillors for cuts to Taxicard funding

According to the Conservative Home publication, Sadiq Khan is being challenged from all quarters in regards to proposals to dramatically reduce the monies set aside for the much relied on Taxicard scheme. 

Taxicard gives those with serious mobility issues the opportunity to use taxis at a subsidised rate. Currently it is funded by both the London Boroughs and Transport for London, however, TfL proposes to cut its share in the deal.
