New London electric Taxi set for second overseas market

The new London electric taxi is set to be exported to Norway next year, making it the second overseas market that the iconic vehicle will be available purchase as the firm, owned by Geely, pursues it's major expansion plan. As reported in Reuters , due to generous tax breaks for anyone who owns a "battery-vehicle" in Norway, it now has the highest rate of ownerships. The new striking TXE will land on Norways shores in the first quarter of 2018. The chief executive for the LEVC (London Electric Vehicle Company) Chris Gubby, said: 

“There are huge opportunities ahead for the business in Norway and we are looking forward to working with Autoindustri to make them a reality,”  Norway will now join Amsterdam on the list of foreign countries with access to the TXE where the Dutch capital now use 225 vehicles as part of a service which transports the elderly and disabled.
