London: Weekly Traffic Update
Trinity Square Junction with Byward Street From Thursday 11 January until late summer 2018, one lane in the westbound direction will be closed on the approach to the junction. This is due to works to reinstate the left turn for traffic into Trinity Square. Waterloo Taxis can use the York Road slip road to continue northbound towards Waterloo IMAX, but the right turn into Addington Street is banned. Taxis making the right turn will be subject to a Penalty Charge Notice. North London Until 04:00 on Monday 8 January, Holloway Road will be closed in both directions at the junction with Highbury Corner. Changes will also apply to the way traffic uses Highbury Corner roundabout for the full duration of Holloway Road closure. Vehicles will use the southern part of the roundabout as a two way road instead of moving around the roundabout. Temporary signals will be in operation. Find out more about the works Westminster From 06:00 on Saturday 6 until 22:00 on Sunday 7 January, Victoria Street will be closed in both directions between Palace Street and Buckingham Gate. This is due to refurbishment work to City Hall. Hammersmith From 00:01 on Saturday 6 until 20:00 on Sunday 14 January there will be no access to Fulham Palace Road from Hammersmith Gyratory. This is for Thames Water work. This is for utility work. Marylebone Road From Monday 8 January until late May 2018, one lane in each direction will be closed along Marylebone Road, between the junctions with Balcombe Street and Baker Street. This is due to the second phase of works to convert Baker Street and Gloucester Place to two way traffic.Â
