London; Weekly Traffic Update


Marylebone Road Until late May 2018, one lane in each direction will be closed along Marylebone Road, between the junctions with Balcombe Street and Baker Street. This is due to the second phase of works to convert Baker Street and Gloucester Place to two way traffic. Find out more at tfl.gov.uk/baker-street-roadworks Trinity Square Junction with Byward Street From today, Thursday 11 January until late summer 2018, one lane in the westbound direction will be closed on the approach to the junction. This is due to works to reinstate the left turn for traffic into Trinity Square. Central London From 20:00 on Friday 12 until 16:30 on Monday 15 January a lane restriction will be in place southbound on New Bridge Street at the junction of Pilgrim Street. This is for utility work. Hammersmith Until 20:00 on Sunday 14 January there will be no access to Fulham Palace Road from Hammersmith Gyratory. This is for Thames Water work. A temporary rank will be available Wednesday to Friday in the parking bays on Tooley Street. This is for resurfacing work Bressenden Place From Monday 15 until Friday 19 January, one lane eastbound will be closed at the junction of Warwick Row between 22:30 and 06:00 each night. Lane three eastbound of Lower Grosvenor approaching the junction of Buckingham Palace Road will also be closed. This is for building work. Pancras Road/Goodsway On Saturday 13 January and Sunday 14 January 2018 between 07:00 and 18:00, there will be a road closure on Goodsway and a partial road closure of Pancras Road. Pancras Road (King’s Cross Station) taxi rank will be unaffected; however, access and egress will be via Euston Road only.

Lumiere London From Thursday 18 until Sunday 21 January, roads in central London, in particular the West End and King’s Cross areas, will be busier than usual each evening and journeys are expected to take longer. This is due to the crowds and road closures for the Lumiere London Festival. A temporary rank will be available on Piccadilly opposite Duke Street/St James’s.
