"I want to run the bus systems for a city" says Uber boss

Uber CEO, Dara Khosrowshahi, has said that Uber could look to go into buses and bikes to create their own complete transport network. Khosrowshahi said at a conference: "I want to run the bus systems for a city. I want to be able to take an Uber and get into the subway...get out and have an Uber waiting for you." He also suggested that Uber could be the transport equivalent to Amazon and become a platform for other transportation providers to operate through as a third-party, the Evening Standard reported.  Khosrowshahi added: "Cars are to us what books are to Amazon"
