London: Roads and Events Update

Waterloo Station From 20:00 on Friday 9 until 20:00 on Sunday 11 March, Station Approach Road will be closed to all vehicles. This is for a crane operation. Taxis to use Spur Road for access and egress to the taxi rank. Central London Tonight Thursday 8 March and tomorrow Friday 9 March, Cornhill (eastbound) between Bank Junction and Gracechurch Street is closed between 22:00 and 05:00. This is for Bank station upgrade work. Rotherhithe Tunnel Vehicles more than two metres (six foot six inches) wide - excluding wing mirrors - are not permitted through the tunnel. This is to ensure safety and reduce the risk of collisions. All London licensed taxis (black cabs) can use the tunnel. 

Central London From 11:30 until 17:00 today, Thursday 8 March, expect potential delays in all directions in the vicinity of Russell Square. This is due to a demonstration. Westminster From 12:00 until 15:30 on Saturday 10 March there will be road closures and traffic holds on the following roads: Duke Street, Trafalgar Square via the Oxford Street eastbound carriageway, Regent Street, Piccadilly Circus, Haymarket and Pall Mall East. This is due to a march.  Printworks From 12:00 until 23:00 on Saturday 10 March there will be a marshalled taxi rank in operation. O2 Arena • Friday 9 until Sunday 11 March between 18:30 and 22:30 for Country to Country Festival (capacity 15,000 each night) • Wednesday 14 March between 18:30 and 22:30 for Paloma Faith (capacity 15,000) Alexandra Palace • Thursday 8 March between 18:30 and 22:45 for Rag N Bone Man (capacity 10,000) • Friday 9 March between 18:30 and 22:45 for Morrissey (capacity 10,000) Wembley Arena • Wednesday 14 March between 19:15 and 22:30 for Voice in a Million (capacity 8,000) • Friday 16 March between 19:00 and 22:30 for 40 Years of Disco (capacity 10,000)
