Taxi rank brawl in North Yorkshire ends with two injuries

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for information following an assault at a taxi rank in Selby. The incident occurred at the James Street Taxi Rank in Selby Town Centre at approximately 1.25am on Sunday, 22 July. A man and a woman were assaulted. The woman was pushed to the ground and the man was punched in the face and required hospital treatment for facial injuries. Officers are keen to identify two suspects. The first one is described as a white woman, with long straight blonde hair, aged in her 30s to early 40s, around 5ft 10ins tall and of medium build. She was wearing a white floral tunic top and jeans. The second suspect is a white man, with short dark hair, possibly aged in his 40s, around 5ft 10ins tall and of stocky build. He was wearing a blue polo shirt and jeans.
