Man charged with illegally operating as a Private Hire driver and having no insurance

A Derbyshire man has been charged with operating as a private hire driver without a licence, drink driving and driving without a licence, insurance or a valid MOT. A police patrol pulled over Christopher Stirling in Ripley Derbyshire at around 3am on Saturday, August 4. He was arrested and later charged with all offences. The 24-year-old suspect is due to appear before magistrates in Chesterfield at the end of the month, according to a report in the DerbyshireTimes. No other details surrounding Stirling's attempts to operate as a private hire driver illegally have been released.
