Passenger shoots himself dead in the back of a New York Yellow Taxi

A passenger has fatally shot himself in the head while on a trip in one of New York's yellow taxis. The incident happened on the Upper West Side during the early hours of Sunday morning, the New York Post reported. The deceased, a 30-year-old man, hailed the taxi at around 2am. Reports say that he need pulled out a gun, held it to his head, and shot a single bullet, killing himself. The taxi driver pulled his vehicle over and called 911. Medics rushed the man to Mount Sinai St. Luke's Hospital, where is was pronounced dead from his injuries. No further details are yet to be released.
