Argos launch supercar taxi service in London for its customers

A limited number of customers that have pre-ordered the new Forza Horizon 4 game with Argos will be chauffeured around London in the supercar of their choice today.

Taking inspiration from the game, options include models from the best of British automobile brands, McLaren and Aston Martin. For those that prefer a flashier way to get around town, a Lamborghini Aventador, Ferrari 488 and Porsche 911 GT3 RS are also available to book.

Pick-ups will be starting outside the Sainsbury’s Argos store in Nine Elms, Battersea, London.

The following cars have been made available to be booked for a ride today with 30 minute slots available between 9am – 7pm:

  • 2018 McLaren 720s

  • 2016 Porsche 911 GT3 RS

  • 2013 Ferrari 488

  • 2016 Lamborghini Aventador

  • 2015 BMW i8

  • 2017 Aston Martin DB11

James Cooke, Video Games Buying Manager at Argos, said: “We wanted to celebrate the launch of the Xbox One exclusive Forza Horizon 4 in a way our customers would appreciate and remember. Forza has been one of our most popular gaming franchises since its launch and bringing the game to life by offering the ultimate super-car taxi service was the perfect way to reward our loyal customers. We anticipate Forza Horizon 4 to be a highly popular launch this year for both casual and hardcore gamers.”
