Important Zero Carbon Futures survey opens to EV taxi drivers with aim of highlighting future chargi

Regional Development Agency, Zero Carbon Futures, is conducting a nationwide survey to understand the charging experience of drivers already using Electric Vehicles (EV) for Taxi and Private Hire work, and their requirements for the future. The results will be used to inform national and local government and charging businesses about Taxi drivers' particular charging needs. The agency hopes the results will encourage appropriate charging provision in the future. The survey applies to drivers renting or owning an EV, which includes pure battery, plug-in hybrid and range extended vehicles like the LEVC. TaxiPoint Founder and Chief Editor, Perry Richardson, urged drivers of EV taxis to take part in the important survey which could deliver better placed charging options for cabbies. Richardson said “It’s imperative that drivers of the new LEVC taxi and other registered electric taxis take the time to complete this survey. Our own recent findings in London found significant concerns around the charging network and its important that drivers of EV voice their opinion to affect change.” You can take part and have your say today by clicking here. All the information you provide will be held anonymously and securely. Access to your data is limited to only those people carrying out this research. You can chose to omit any question that you do not wish to answer and it should take no more than 10 minutes to complete the survey.
