The court heard how Beckett, who was drunk, and "drugged-up," became angry after she was told that her cab fare would be £33.

The driver said, in a victim imoacy statement that Becketts threat made hine feel very vulnerable and extrememly upset.

The court heard how Beckett was also found with a Class A drug on her person

It was claimed in court by her defence that Beckett, who is a self-employed barber, was deeply ashamed of the offence that she caused the driver and is now living a "quiet life."

Beckett was fined £120 for each of the offences, and was also told to pay £100 in compensation to the taxi driver.
