LTDA releases first in a series of podcasts promoting the Knowledge and the taxi industry

The Licensed Taxi Drivers’ Association have released the first in a series of podcasts promoting the Knowledge and the taxi industry in general.

In the first podcast, available now for download on both iTunes and Spotify, the LTDA speaks to Knowledge of London examiners from Transport for London and several recent cabbies who have recently obtained their green badge licenses.

Steve McNamara, General Secretary from The LTDA, said:

“The LTDA has just finalised and released the first in a series of podcasts. The first two feature details on the Knowledge of London and includes interviews with examiners and recent knowledge graduates, all of whom have joined our ranks in the past year.

“The number of applicants to do the Knowledge had fallen to an all time low, although recently its recovered slightly, much of the drop in numbers being attributable to negative and misinformation being circulated on social media. “The podcasts enable current Knowledge students, and those considering becoming a cab driver, an insight into whats involved in the learning and testing procedures and what awaits them when they get a badge.”

We have tried to make them as accurate and as positive as possible. They can be downloaded from itunes or spotify”
