Walsall cabbie injured after being attacked by machete wielding thugs
Police are hunting two men after a cabbie was slashed in a terrifying machete attack.
The unnamed cabbie was injured after one of the thugs sliced him across the heas across the head. The victm was attacked outside the Bradford Arms pub on Pleck Road, Walsall, after attempting to pick up a customer.
Police have now released CCTV images in a bid to trace those wanted in connection with the attack.
The victim arrived at the pick-up point at approximately 8.15pm on April 29. Five people then entered his vehicle, however when the driver told the customers he was not licensed to carry that five passengers, one of the group punched him in the face several times and threw his mobile phone on the ground. The cabbie was then attacked by a person wielding a machete.
