North Yorkshire Police appeal for witnesses after Out-of-Town Uber driver allegedly spat at female r

According to a report in Minster FM, Police in York are investigating a report made against an Uber driver.

The Uber driver, who had signs of the ride-sharing app on the outside of his vehicle, allegedly spat at a woman in another vehicle.

The alleged incident took place during an altercation between the two road users over who had the right of way.

The Uber driver, who is believed to be licensed from another authority, allegedly spat through the car vehicle at the woman. Anyone who saw the incident, which took place on Friday 28 June, on Fifth Avenue York, is asked to contact the police to give a report.
