Paisley cabbie allegedly subjected to racist remarks by three males

Scotland Police are asking for witnesses following an alleged hate crime in Paisley. Racist remarks were allegedly made to a cabbie on Saints Street near to Love Street on Sunday 11 August at 4.10am. The cab driver, in a silver mercedes vehicle, was said to have been subjected to racial remarks by three males.
In a police appeal for help, all suspect males are believed to be in their 20s, one wearing a grey tracksuit, one in grey shorts and a grey hoodie, and one in a grey and blue hoodie.
The three males are then alleged to have blocked the taxi from leaving the street for a short time before the arrival of a second taxi. If anyone has any information or dash cam footage of the incident, please contact police on 101 or anonymously on Crime Stoppers on 0800555111, quoting incident number 1327 of 11 August.
