Cyclist tells taxi driver he’ll “probably” run next red light too

Perry Richardson

A cyclist performing a dangerous traffic manoeuvre causing traffic to brake and react, tells driver he’ll “probably” jump the next set too. The footage in the busy Borough area in London, shows the male cyclist right turn out of St Thomas Street. The junction is left turn only for all vehicles and bikes.

A taxi had to react quickly and safely avoided the cyclist. He then asked him: “Are you going to jump them lights too?”

The cyclist responded by saying “Probably”, and proceeded to accelerate through the next red lights weaving through pedestrians as they crossed. The footage was captured on a London taxi dash-cam and published on Twitter by @TaxiManLondon. One comment from Stephen Port on social media said: “The cyclists say they drive as well, but my question is would you drive your car the way you ride your bike?”
