LEVC appoint new Communications Director in lead up to new taxi and van model launches

Andrea Baker joins as Communications Director, responsible for PR, Marketing Communications & Product Marketing London Electric Vehicle Company (LEVC) have announced the appointment of Andrea Baker as Communications Director, responsible for PR, Marketing Communications and Product Marketing, reporting to CEO Joerg Hofmann.

With more than 20 years of communications experience in the automotive industry, Baker joins LEVC from Bentley Motors where she has led the Media Communications team since 2012, responsible for editorial strategy and global product PR. Prior to Bentley, Baker worked as Head of PR for Porsche Cars GB and Head of PR, Events and Sponsorship for Volvo Cars UK. The appointment comes as LEVC plans the launch of its new light commercial electric van and TX Shuttle. The van is based on the same architecture and proven e-City range extender technology as LEVC’s TX taxi, of which there are now over 2,500 on the roads. Joerg Hofmann, LEVC CEO, said: “Andrea brings with her a wealth of experience and a track record of success in building a brand profile. She will be working closely with Leighton King, our Commercial Director, to spearhead LEVC’s export strategy across Europe for the iconic electric TX Taxi and TX Shuttle as well as preparing markets for the launch of the new electric LCV urban delivery van next year.”
