Suspect charged with robbing taxi driver in Dartford


A suspect has been charged with a robbery on a taxi driver in Dartford according to Kent Police sources.  The charge relates to an incident in Burnham Road on 15 July, when the victim reported being assaulted and having a quantity of cash stolen.

Desmond Bartley of Boundary Street, Erith, London was arrested on Tuesday 10 September. Mr Bartley, 24, was charged with the offence and remanded in custody to appear before Medway Magistrates’ on Thursday 12 September. At the hearing he was further remanded in custody and will appear at Maidstone Crown Court on Thursday 10 October.
